- The problem
- Group khatmas die when someone takes a part and goes quiet; existing apps have no assignment engine, unreliable Uthmani rendering, and no Arabic/English/French parity.
- What I built
- A mobile app (Arabic, English and French) for organising group Quran readings. It divides the Quran fairly between participants, lets people claim, swap or hand back a part, reminds anyone who has gone quiet before the deadline, and shows the Quran in the standard Uthmani script with Hijri dates.
- Where it stands
- In development since late August 2026. Not on the stores yet — push notifications and automatic recurring khatmas are still being finished. Target launch: Ramadan 1448 (around February 2027).
